Today i started and completed the sixth module of the architecture academy. In this module i created an European Style building from a reference photo. This is one of the longest one, with more than 4 hour of video time and an estimated completion time of 8-10 hour.
Unlike the previous modules with 7 out of 8 tutorial focusing on the modelling you can see that the scene realism relies on the extremely complex modelling especially on the Corinthian Header. This is a first of it’s kind in this tutorial, where he teach us how to create such organic looking object without being to confusing.
There is a lot of array modifier and some really fine details. I currently doesn’t have a high samples render yet seeing that i finished at 10 p.m. so the only solution is to render it at 100 samples which surprisingly look decent enough. Here are some screen shot and the final render of the scene.
